Artist's Comments

A character from my old days of AD&D now converted a bit for a forum RP. Actually, this is one of my fave pics of late, he turned out just how I saw him in my fevered brain.

However, I have edited this with a post work i did on the beard to make it more to match the hair.

Awesome work! What program are you using? I tried DAZ and it just freezes up.

Blackened steel...*nods sagely*...actually it is just steel I guess, but I liked how the light caught the edges as I mitigated the reflection map so I kept it.

I read something interesting about the Vikings. They dyed their hair. So I just figured ole Kulbay ran out of the requisite dye stuff since his back story puts him away from home for a looooong time. Besides, I couldn't get the textures to sync up so I went for what I liked visually.

It's just Daz. Check your system requirements and what version you are using as opposed to what version the figure you are using is meant for. If you are using 1.8 DAZ and trying to use V4 then you will lock up every time. Plus some figures ONLY work correctly with Poser so they will cause you a problem at times. You have to read everything on those figures to be sure you can use them.

Thanks for the advice! ^^
